That big, lanky, goggle-eyed freak, Stephen Merchant.
I’ve just joined DeviantArt. Any fellow “Deviants” out there who can offer any tips to a newbie?
Prints can be purchased from here with surprisingly little hassle, which is lovely. I’d really appreciate it if you could all go have a look and leave a comment, so I know you stopped by :)
This is an interpretation of Da Vinci’s famous (self) portrait (link below). It was supposed to go up on April 15th in celebration of Da Vinci’s 561st birthday, but I’ve been plugging away at it for so long it has to go up now. Happy early birthday Leonardo!

I haven’t been able to draw much at all lately. Hastily splurged this onto a page. Mr Fry deserves more, I’ll probably come back to it.
Getting out of the Christmas rut by studying eyes. Need to thank Sam Spratt for this one, constant source of inspiration.
OK, so Neil Gaiman posted some facts earlier about the legal use of guns in the US versus the opposite in the UK and it got me thinking.
I really hate it when people try to defend private ownership of weapons with petty remarks like ‘guns don’t kill people, people do’. This is utter bull in my opinion, but I figured I would defend with further evidence.
According to the Nation Master website last year there were 9, 369 murders with firearms in the United States and 14 in the UK. Over 600 times as many deaths in the US. That’s an awful lot of murders.
‘But Kay, America is such a big country, of course their death toll would be higher’. Check out this website. America has only 5 times the population of the UK. And yet 600 times the number of murders with firearms.
How has no one figured this out yet? If you give guns to idiots, you’re gonna have a bad time.
